Services will be
held 10 a.m. today at Evans Brown Mortuary for
Flora Matilda
Sophie Stuhr Atkinson Brady, 82, who died
at her home in Lake
Elsinore Saturday.
She will be buried
at Elsinore Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Brady came to Lake
Elsinore
in
1931 and married Ellsworth Brady
in Riverside in 1933.
Widowed since 1971, Mrs. Brady had been active
in many local organizations.
Mrs. Brady was a
charter member
of the
First Lutheran Church of Elsinore
and an officer of the Ladies Society.
She was a member and officer
of the
Elsinore
Chapter of the
Veterans of Foreign
War and had supported the war effort
during World War II
as a riveter on a bomber assembly line in a feeder plant in Lake Elsinore.
Also, Mrs. Brady had served as a Girl Scout troop leader
and was active in the Grand Avenue Club.
Mrs. Brady Is survived
by her brothers,
Carl Stuhr of Lake Elsinore and Emil Stuhr of Michigan
her sister,
Bessie Cahoon of Michigan; three
sons, Neil A. Atkinson of Florida,
Harold A. Atkinson at Riverside and Russell B. Brady of Escondido;
a daughter, Glenda Barnet of Indiana;
14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
